A Summer Wedding at The Woodlands Hotel in Leeds

Natasha & Jamie’s Woodlands Hotel Leeds Wedding

Natasha and Jamie were married on a warm summer day at The Woodlands Hotel in Leeds, with their ceremony held outside on the lawn surrounded by family and friends. With sunshine across the gardens and guests gathered outside from the very start, the whole day had a relaxed, joyful feel to it.

The Woodlands always feels welcoming, but summer weddings here are especially lovely. The gardens become part of the celebration — guests spilling out onto the terrace, drinks in hand, laughter carrying across the lawn, and beautiful soft light right through into the evening.

Natasha and Jamie’s day felt easy in the best kind of way — full of genuine moments, warm smiles, and that calm atmosphere that lets everything unfold naturally. A wonderful day to photograph at one of my favourite Leeds wedding venues.

The Woodlands Hotel, Leeds — Summer Ceremonies in the Garden

The Woodlands Hotel feels especially lovely in summer. The lawns open up beautifully in the sunshine, with guests gathering outside beneath the trees and the garden ceremony space creating a relaxed, intimate setting for exchanging vows.

Being just outside Leeds, it has that rare balance of elegance and calm — Georgian character, soft gardens, and plenty of space for everyone to settle into the day. Outdoor ceremonies on the lawn feel especially special here, with natural light across the gardens and everything flowing easily from the ceremony into drinks outside on the terrace.

It’s a wonderful venue for photographs too — from quiet moments in the gardens to confetti on the lawn and warm evening light across the grounds. One of those Leeds wedding venues that feels welcoming from the moment guests arrive.
