The Priests House, Barden Tower, Wedding Photography for Jane and Callum’s August Celebrations in the Rain
Jane & Callum’s August wedding was met with some rain, though didn’t dampen proceedings at all. The Priests House, Barden Tower, is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, so wherever you turn the scenery is beautifully green. I met everyone at the Priests House and caught the groomsmen making sausage sandwiches and the groom’s son’s last minute getting ready. The ceremony room is quite stunning and warm in it’s ambience and feel. The wedding ring mini casket proudly held by the groom’s son. I met the bride as she arrived and met with the registrar, capturing the full length and train of her beautiful wedding dress. It was refreshing to see a large check suit for the Groom et.al. It’s always nice to see a couple’s personality, rather than sticking to what is typical or expected.
Capturing the entrance of the bride and her father, the children stole the show as you will see. The ceremony, a happy time for everyone, with smiles all around. The signing and presentation of the marriage certificate captured with happiness and love. The exit continues to show the personality of the couple so well. Confetti and the everyone shot was followed by the Birds of Prey loved by everyone, despite some guests being understandably afraid. To see these creatures up close was amazing for everyone and make such a great addition to Jane & Callum’s wedding day.
Live music and Harry Potter themed wedding breakfast tables looked great. The wedding cake – a stack of books – it was so amazing! Before the couple entered for the wedding breakfast, we took a few couple photos around the back of the tower. The wedding breakfast was so colourful with amazing natural light from the grand windows. The couple visited a few tables saying hello – and speeches then began – I captured the fun and emotion unobtrusively. A couple more family photos inside – cutting of the wedding cake, and the first dance followed. A fabulous wedding I am sure you will agree.
