Tim photographed our wedding on 20th May 2018. From our first meet around a year before he has always been very friendly and accommodating. In the run up to the wedding he responded to our questions quickly. On the day Tim was excellent, he managed to capture all the important moments without ever being in the way. All the group shots have come out lovely and we were never pressured to have more photos and be away from our guests for any longer than we wanted. Tim’s excellent knowledge of the technicalities of photography mean that he captures an image so well ‘in the camera’, that little processing is required after the fact. This allows him to capture fleeting intimate moments between guests in perfect lighting, even when the available light situation is challenging. If you are looking for someone to capture your big day, you will have to go a long way to find someone whose competence with the camera is better than Tim’s, and will definitely not find someone this good who can come close to Tim on pricing!

When looking to arrange our wedding photographer, we were lucky enough to find Tim. After talking to him on the phone and looking at his previous work, we booked him straight away. It is clear that Tim is not only very professional, but also thoroughly enjoys his photography work. He was kind enough to offer us a pre wedding shoot, so we could get to know each other and so that he could help put us at ease in front of the camera. On the big day, Tim was an absolute star. He worked tirelessly in very hot weather to ensure he got the best shots of our day. He was not bossy and did not dictate how best to take the shots. He was incredibly discreet and blended into the background so well that a lot of the time we were not even aware he was there, happily clicking away. Many of our guests even commented on how good Tim was, and how he did not disrupt the celebrations with posed and manufactured pictures. Tim was one of the first wedding photographers we came across online and having looked at the images on his website we knew straight away his style of photography was exactly what we were looking for. We hired Tim for our wedding last July. He did a fantastic job and we love the photos. Everyone has commented on how natural they are, which is exactly what we wanted. It was great that he offered a pre-wedding shoot, so we could all meet each other before the wedding and so that my partner and I felt more comfortable in front of the camera. At the church where the service was held, they have a rule that photographers must take photos from the organ balcony therefore only getting shots from behind. Tim managed to speak to the Reverend and persuaded him to bend the rule allowing us to get some great shots from the front of the church. All in all we are very happy, the photos are great and the price was very competitive. We would definitely recommend!

Tim is an amazing photographer. He captured our wedding day so brilliantly, with over 1200 photos, and in the vast majority managed to snap all the moments when smiles and laughter filled the room. He was also incredibly useful on the morning of the wedding…. he took photos of the preparations but also answered the phone, answered the door, even gave advice when my bridesmaids couldn’t tie my dress properly! We found Tim by accident!! We were looking for a photographer for our wedding so went on a wedding website and typed in looking for a photographer.Tim sent a message with the opening line” do you like my style?” I liked that for a start so I messaged him back “yes I do like your style”.He has a nothing’s a problem approach very calm and laid back but also very professional, he has lots of great ideas but leaves it to you to decide what you want he isn’t pushy at all.He did our pre wedding shoot and we were put at ease straight away with his calm approach and felt much more confident on the day.He worked so hard and was there from 11 am till 10pm capturing fantastic memories that we would have missed had it not been for Tim.We had a rock band play for our evening reception, he loved it and not only photographed it but also asked us if we would like him to video events too, obviously we said yes which he did an excellent job.Thank you Tim for making our day memorable and fantastic!! We hired Tim for our wedding ceromany and a little extra at our reception. Tim more than exceeded our expectations for our day, we got over 500 photos and that wasn’t even half of the day!. I would just first like to say that if you are looking for a wedding photographer then look no further. Tim is a fantastic photographer who traveled over 4 hours to get to our wedding venue and only charged £35 expenses so don’t let distance put you off.
Our photos were amazing and very natural which was exactly what we were looking for. He took over 1200 photos of our day (8 hours) which gave us hours of pleasure looking over.
We would highly recommend him and so pleased that we chose him.

Finding a wedding photographer is probably one of the most important and daunting aspects of planning a wedding and when I came across Tims website, it appealed to me because of the very ‘real’ nature of his photographs.
I chose a six hour package that resulted in 929 photographs that are exceptional and captured those special moments when you think no one is looking!
I didn’t want structured or staged photos although a small number of group shots were a must.

We hired Tim to be our photographer for our Wedding Blessing. It was short notice and we had a meeting with him over Skype where he answered every question we had. On the day he did a fantastic job and a lot of the time we hardly knew he was there as he blended into the background. Tim photographed our daughters Wedding at Leeds Town Hall last August. He has a very professional approach, but is very unassuming and the marvellous thing is that the photos are so natural because you forget he is there in the background. We have booked Tim for our wedding in July and last week we had a ‘pre-wedding’ shoot at Kirkstall Abbey. This was mainly to see how my partner and I react in front of the camera but also so we could get to know more about how Tim works as a photographer. Tim came to photograph our wedding in 2014. We were really pleased with his work. He got everyone in the right place for the different formal and group photos (no mean feat) and made sure we got the most photogenic spots, but then merged into the background to capture all those informal moments which for me really capture the day best. Tim’s always been prompt in replying to queries and he offered a free test shoot before the wedding to help put us at ease with being photographed. We haven’t even had our wedding yet, but the pre wedding photo shoot we had enabled us to see how our day was going to be in photographs, amazing. The photo’s which were taken were out of this world. We asked for a photo print from the photo shoot and to be mounted with a border so we could use this at out wedding reception to enable people to sign the border instead of a guest book. When we saw the finished product Tim had done for us, our reaction was simply, ‘Wow’. The picture was breathtaking and after very little thought we have decided not to use the print and border as it is so beautiful we would not want to change it in anyway, needless to say I have had to run out and buy a guest book, but the print will be displayed at our wedding reception as it captured our feelings towards one another. This picture will be framed after the wedding and be placed in prime position in our front room, just as it is. As for the remainder of the photo’s from the shoot, well we had no other choice but to order a few more of them as they were too good to not have. We already know that our wedding photo’s will be amazing.

As for the photos, thank you and what a lot of images! They capture the day exactly has it happened – we had a fantastic time and that really shows. In fact, we wish we’d have had the confidence to go completely against tradition and just have informal shots as these are most definitely our favourites – they capture expressions and moments that we may otherwise have forgotten. What a fantastic day and what fantastic photographs to remind us. What is amazing is all of the little details that you miss as it all goes in a blur are captured forever in your wonderful pictures.
