Bridesmaids & Pageboys — ‘Stealing the Show’ at Weddings across Leeds & Yorkshire
Weddings are full of heart — and the littlest guests often bring the biggest smiles.
From cute little pageboys to shy flower girls twirling, these moments happen when kids feel welcome and seen. I always try to blend in gently, so they welcome the camera — and that’s when the magic happens. Being invited into these moments is great. It’s not just about capturing children being cute — it’s about photographing the spirit of your day through everyone that matters — big and small.
Here’s a gallery full of joy, mischief, and those unscripted memories you’ll treasure forever.

This moment was so funny — their mum had asked them to pose for a photo, but one had other ideas — trying to make her escape, the image had that little extra magic!

on the chequered floor — pure magic.

The windy shores of Scarborough was the location — the bride’s daughter was often seen ‘Stealing the Show’. I think it’s my calm personality that allows me to capture image like this.

a look of trust between them.

amid the wedding day’s quiet rhythm.

The little lion lives for moments like this.
A wedding with so many children — the couple made sure that everyone was entertained. They loved my photos so much — they asked me to travel down again to photograph a family day out.

Mid-twirl before the vows — full of feeling.
The little bridesmaid spinning in her dress at Julie and Pat’s September wedding — it might’ve been raining, but it never dulled the joy. I love photographing in challenging light and weather. There’s something timeless about these real, fleeting moments.

Natural moments like this — pure joy.
Group shots can be genuinely fun — especially when the kids get involved. At this Grays Court wedding, the atmosphere was full of laughter and warmth, and it really came across in the photos. One of my favourites? A sofa packed with flower girls and pageboys, totally at home and beaming.

Captured in the calm between courses abroad.
Photographed during one of the busiest (and most joyful) weddings I’ve captured — ten courses, thunder in the church, umbrellas rushing to the car, and sunshine breaking through by the time we reached the venue. The sisters in this photo were full of personality, and the whole day felt like something out of a film. A memory I’ll always treasure.

A tiny still moment that says everything.

bridesmaids having fun in grayscale charm.

flowers gathered, quietly proud.

a quiet pageboy moment to keep.

this one might come back to tease him.

a Huck Finn kind of afternoon.
These little legends add so much light to every celebration — and I love capturing that spark, naturally and unobtrusively. If you’re planning a wedding filled with loved ones of all ages, let’s make sure their personalities shine through too.
