The Wedding Venue: The Craiglands Hotel, Cowpasture Rd, Ilkley LS29 8RQ

Victorian splendour, Craiglands is a beautiful wedding venue in Ilkley, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a few weddings there. Lindsay and Tom’s June wedding, first at a Church for the ceremony and then to Craiglands right through to the Evening Reception. Below is their wedding Storybook telling the story of the day.

Lindsay and Tom chose the bright yellow ribbons decorating each chair at their wedding breakfast tables – for the front cover photo for their storybook album – set in plexiglass. The first spread shows the casual look of the day the couple wanted. Showcasing in Lindsay’s wedding bouquet were beautiful sunflowers. A casual affair, with no stress – I captured the preparation photos and the couple chose black and white images to feature.

Arriving at the church – the bridesmaids in Autumn colours. The groom looking nervous as his best man smiles for the camera. Lindsay arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce wedding car – her bouquet sunflowers prominent. Her father holds her bouquet as Lindsay holds her wedding dress as they both walk towards the church… Craiglands Hotel, the next location for the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception.
