Kirsty & Sam’s Colourful Garden Party Wedding in the Summer Sun

There was something beautifully unrushed about Kirsty & Sam’s day — like summer itself had stretched out just for them. They were married under the trees, surrounded by colour and warmth, with guests sat on hay bales and sunlight pouring through the branches.

The whole garden came to life with personality — bright bouquets, satin and lace dresses, lightsaber duels on the grass, and the unmistakable buzz of a wedding that feels completely true to the couple at the centre of it all.

Even though this wedding took me a little further afield, I absolutely loved travelling from Leeds to capture it. From their laid-back vows to the marquee speeches, garden games, and the cheese-and-fruit tower, it was a joy to photograph a day this full of heart.

A Wedding Bursting with Personality — Documented by a Leeds Wedding Photographer

Weddings like Kirsty & Sam’s are a lovely reminder that you don’t need a big venue or strict timeline — just a garden, your people, and the space to be yourselves.
