Set on the Chevin, just outside Otley and on the outskirts of Leeds, it’s a small, relaxed barn surrounded by open countryside! Just across from the venue, Chevin Forest Park stretches out — a 700-acre nature reserve that’s popular with locals and makes a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs!

I always love returning to the Chilli Barn to photograph more wedding stories here. It’s a place that works beautifully in all weather — whether it’s soft light drifting across the Chevin or the barn filled with warmth and atmosphere on a quieter, overcast day. The space suits smaller, more intimate celebrations so naturally — easy-going, personal, and focused on the people around you.

Wedding Photography At The Chilli Barn, Otley 

Helen and Adam chose an intimate wedding celebration with family and close friends — in no way a compromise, but something that felt entirely their own.

The day was filled with personal touches: their rescue dog playing a part, colourful umbrellas for planned photos with Helen’s beautiful white horse, cupcakes, and time spent in Chevin Forest — a place they often walk together.
